I know this sounds small, given the bigger issues, but I have a cat that is likely going to die thanks to this election.
He needs surgery. He needs treatment. He's never been particularly healthy, but he's hung in there.
Yesterday, I probably had the income to get him the most recent round of recommended surgery.
Today, I have four years of the unknown ahead and people I've got to support. 😢

He's a senior, so unfortunately, I'm going to have to go with keeping him comfortable, feeding him his favorite foods, and easing him across the bridge when the time comes.
I was all set to schedule the surgery, but now I'm prioritizing things that will be hit with tariffs and making sure we can crawl through the next four to eight to whenever years.
It's really devastating on so many levels.
