I'm not sure fleeing is the answer - this is a global movement. I've got friends who are on their third retirement country, leaving right before each government destabilized.
Take stock, figure out which 2025 policies are going to hit you and make a plan to weather it as best you can.
To be blunt - no one wants refugees. We should know that by now.
I'm not saying that there aren't folks who will need to leave, but unfortunately, it's not just the US shifting.
Example - Germany is often listed as hugely LGBTQ friendly. But, if you dig in, it's a few cities. And not so much all of those cities. And the German far right has been on the rise so stability issues.
Coupled with language and cultural barriers as well as the costs and paperwork of emigrating - it's a lift.
I'm so sorry.

I do understand all that and agree, it's a global phenomenon.

With respect, there are some among us who are in physical danger from the future under MAGA. #LGBTQ folx who *can* flee might be saving their lives.
My heart goes out to the ones who can't afford to do so.
#Trans rights are human rights, but not so much in T.....'s "America".
