Need to replace my dryer, gonna do both since my washer has seen better days. Want a condensing dryer (love mine).
Bosch or Miele?
@Cosmichomicide look into LG. We recently got a model WT7900HWA and it’s been kinda impressive. Our previous machine had expensive leak that didn’t affect performance. The LG actually got whites whiter, everything a bit cleaner. And the spin cycle can be extended so some items like towels don’t require as lengthy drying time. The drum is huge and has an impeller so comforters come out great. Whatever you choose stay away from front load washers!
Yeah, front load is a pain. That said, my LG set has been less than impressive, sadly. 🫤
@Cosmichomicide say it ain’t so. What’s been the issue(s)? With dryers, simple is better (easy to repair, less expensive replacement parts if you are a do it yourself kind).
Dryer - thermister (or whatever it's called) . Prior to that, door sensor and control board.
Washer simply threw errors on all but a couple of cycles after a while. 🤷🏻♀️
@Cosmichomicide there’s always ask @Alfred.
@Cosmichomicide girlie being from EU wanted to replace our Samsung (wouldn’t recommend- not sure how they rate so highly) with Electrolux- a brand I’d never owned before. They’re available here now via big box stores and so far have been great.
Samsung was off the list in the first round of research. Hadn't considered the Electrolux, but will look into. Thanks!
LG is a no go as that's what is being replaced and I've put ridiculous amounts of time into YouTube repair videos.
That said, condensing dryers are da bomb and I'm delighted to see options this time. 😎
