The Reverend William Barber started Moral Mondays in NC. Some of the best organized protests I've ever seen. Pre-protest food and training, arrest volunteers with very specific disobedience methods, bail and lawyers ready, processing documents ready to go, signs (of very specific sizes) handed out.
Really impressive.
He founded The Poor People's Movement. They organize protests nationwide.
He founded Repairers of the Breach, which trained clergy in organizing.
Just pondering perspective.

This is an article from Moral Mondays that really details a lot of the protest organizing. Worth the read.
