I just called my Republican Congressman & said to the staffer that I hope he supports the Border bill and that it is terrible that Republicans are trying to blow up the deal on Donald #Trump ‘s wishes.
Also left a message for RoJo who never has a human answering the phone.
Don’t just complain on social media, call your reps on the phone! Make them feel shame for being led by the nose by Trump!
And call the Democrats as well. This isn't the progressive immigration bill many had hoped for, so a bit of constituent support is worth the call.
@Cosmichomicide @AverageCitizen Of course it's not progressive. We're trying to compromise to get something passed and get funding for Ukraine as well. If you want something more progressive, you will have to get more blue senators and congresscrittars.
I wasn't arguing, I was stating a fact. My representative is Alma Adams and I'm pretty sure she will vote with Leader Jeffries. I call her to be supportive since I was gerrymandered in and have very few issues in common with most of the district.
Budd and Tillis are focus group ass kissers who have just announced they oppose. Color me shocked. I generally call them just to troll as a constituent.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for calling! I just don't see it changing anything till after we re elect Biden and take back both the House and Senate.
Personally, I think this is an amazing opportunity. Not the bill, but to prove that the GOP won't even take a bill that eliminates all the things they whined about in the past and gives them what they whined for.
I want sound bites galore saying "Use executive orders" followed by "abuse of executive orders" followed by "increase funding" followed by "vote against funding".
Needs to be targeted to the home school cartoon PragerU crowd - at the district level.
@Cosmichomicide @AverageCitizen ITA although if there are any executive orders given, I think we should start w arresting Abbott and the Texas State guard. Then remove the barbwire.
I'm a bit surprised that Biden hasn't turned the Army loose on this - I absolutely guarantee that they have "procedures" in place for dealing with rogue guard units.
And I'm not talk Showdown at the OK Corral, I'm talking cut the supply lines, pull the pay and retirement levers. Dry the river upstream.
