Here's an excerpt from Rufo's editorial in the WSJ. Important to note he has zero academic background and his Harvard masters is an extension certificate.
Thing here is, the right knows the center and the left will demonize their own given the whiff of scandal, real or contrived. The right is perfectly content to laugh off or praise the same or worse behavior from their own cohort.
Playing two different games. Yeah, I found some iffy examples in the Gay debacle; mostly not. But the rails were laid and folks who hated doing book reports are discussing quotation marks in a sentence that starts "[the authors] say".
And on to the next target. 😐

Note this mentions Rufo is now going after Sally Kornbluth. She's a pure STEM scientist type who believes that liberal arts are essential in STEM. Her leadership focus at MIT has been climate change.
Stefanik accused her hearing statement of being anti-Semitic. Kornbluth is Jewish.
