Re Tuberville blocking military appointments over abortion related heathcare for women in the military stationed in states where there is medical care unavailable: Close bases in Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, Texas, Idaho, Ohio, and any other State that doesn't provide full medical services to everyone in uniform. Do not put our service personnel at risk in those venues. Close those bases and move the operations to full service States.
So Congress needs to authorize a BRAC (Base Realignment and Closure) commission to whom the DoD makes recommendations and congresspersons beg, plead and wheedle. Since the last time it was done, we ended an entire decades long series of wars.
Very easy to justify. BRAC commissions are recommended to be authorized every 10 years or so. The last one was in 2005.
