I have a forearm tattoo that wasn't great to begin with and hasn't held up well. I'm leaning towards a hot air balloon coverup with a stack of books as the basket. I'm a primary color kinda gal who wears a lot of black IRL. Leaning towards American Traditional style.
Any thoughts? Warnings? Ideas? (Yes, I intend to listen to my artist and it's not the original artist - just throwing ideas together for the consult.)

@LotSixteen You mean the current tattoo? It's a straight up typeset quote in black, so a fair number of options that don't have to be a sick ass panther or such. 😉
Since I'm not interested in a band or an ornamental (well, unless someone has a fabulous idea), I've been looking for a larger foundation piece on that arm that gives me the ability to add.

Hot air balloons are appealing for several personal reasons, but also (to my current thoughts) both the balloon and basket have a lot of options.
Oh and I'm so white as to make Casper gasp. 👻
