“Teach the children quietly, for someday sons and daughters will rise up and fight where we stood still..”
Mike and the Mechanics - Silent Running
Song for the afternoon….
“Tragedy
When the feeling's gone and you can't go on
It's tragedy…
When the morning cries and you don't know why
It's hard to bear…”

We have chores to do, a business to manage, and smols to educate.
There’s no room for failure. Stay healthy. Stay effective. Learn and teach.
These things are pivotal, and as destabilizing as all this is and will be, we have to develop gyroscopic balance.
There’s no room for falling, there’s no room to land.
Statistics show that we should all know and love someone who is of a deeply marginalized community, if you are not actively marginalized yourself.
So everyone here is either going through this reality actively in a way that is truly horrific and definitive to their lives or loves someone who is living it.
That’s a lot for a community to be expected to handle.
If we can’t be civil in one of the last open bastions of public discourse we are absolutely fucked.
