So this morning the corvids (couldn’t see which type today) on one side of the property got into it with a the hawk from the far side of the property….
When the corvids finally won (the what… rap battle? dance fight? I don’t know what they were doing but it was loud) one of them laughed LAUGHED while the hawk fled to the far side of the tree line.
No one was harmed but I think that hawk has a little less pride at the moment.

Sounds a little like blue jay energy! I've never heard them laugh, though.
@Helical_Code blue jays are so… alright I’ll just say it. Blue jays are jerks! Not all blue jays of course. I’m sure there are some who don’t shove little birds off feeders and destroy their nests and then shove everyone off the water dish while yelling at everything in sight.

The species certainly seems to have a LARGE share of jerks! I can imagine most of the other corvids having a good chuckle. And maybe the hawk deserved it.
