You know what the hardest thing I've had to do in my life?

We've all done really hard things, so this isn't a challenge to anyone, but the hardest thing I have ever had to do was look at my own inadequacies in the face of my strife.

Looking at how far I still had to go, how much I was lacking, how much I had yet to endure was a struggle not about ego or efficacy, but about reality. It didn't matter how far I'd come, and I had. Still had a long way to go.
