@Agatha it's very fun to wfh now. I get to use nice voice on the phone while still getting to hold rbf. it's so cush.
Before, in face to face customer service, that just freaked them out. My voice said "How can I help you today?" while my face.... did not.

Oh! Look whose little part arrived today. That tiny little metal nub that presses against the bobbin. It is complete! I'm patiently waiting for demons to come pouring forth, but nada. 😔
@Agatha oh no, that's a shame. but maybe it'll be like a different kind of presence. maybe if you listen closely while sewing with it you'll hear the souls of the damned or something? I know you're disappointed.
also that looks so neat and just right and i'm really happy for you to have that sense of completion.
Oooh maybe I need to sew something proper on it, vs just test sewing, to "unlock" it?
