@ATXJane 💜💜 did he react to them? I’m just a big scaredy-cat when it comes to pressing that.

We whack it on the side of the counter. As a youngster, he was a little apprehensive but loved it! For just a moment cooking involved “fireworks” and the sole problem was that it only needed to happen once. Mind you, he has ADHD & so it was exciting.
He recently had his wisdom teeth out & on his list of guilty pleasures was cinnamon rolls. He only spent one night here resting…but I still have the rolls. So the magic still awaits my now way too grown up son. Small pleasures. 💜
@ATXJane oh that is such a sweet and fun memory. I love that he enjoyed the firework moment!
I hope he heals quickly from the wisdom teeth, that can take a lot out of you.
And wow. I really want cinnamon buns now. 💜
It's all I can do not to eat those cinnamon buns. Almost lost my will the other night. But alas, they do have gluten in them. That would cause big regrets.
So I'll wait for my boy, now 5'10" son, until I can entice him to hang out in the kitchen with me. (I always try to feed him when he comes over, because he is often low on funds and hungry but not willing to let me know...)
I rarely used a spoon. I’d take it and tap it on the edge of the counter.

Fun memories with my son. 💜
