Fun fact: The number of Supreme Court Justices was based on the number of circuits. Somehow, it was never adjusted as more circuits were added.

@BlueStateBabe Supreme Court Justices no longer ride circuits to serve as circuit court justices, so tying the number of justices to the circuits no longer makes sense.
