"Why does my post authoring window say 'SANITIZER'!?"
One of the more understated yet awesome features of CounterSocial is the sheer length we go to in order to keep you secure. SANITIZER assesses what you post, and removes any metadata that might've been accidentally included.
What metadata you ask? ALL OF IT. SANITIZER scrubs your links and media to remove all of the hidden details that they sometimes contain.
To deactivate it, simply add the word "NOSANITIZE" to your post. #CoSoTips
CounterSocial's SANITIZER does such an effective job of scrubbing ALL metadata that it can sometimes affect how photos are displayed in the timeline because it also removes the ORIENTATION metatag from the pictures you've taken.
You can fix this by making a small edit to your photo (crop, resize, recolor, anything) and try uploading that.

Taking photos in landscape mode does not prevent the photos from being rotated incorrectly.
