Just watched Superman III. Forgot how good Reeve's heel turn was; the look of utter distain.

How anyone can consider voting for a conservative at this point is completely lost on me.

They've reached the point of declaring that you're an extremist for supporting people who's colour, sexuality or gender is different to theirs, for supporting your families & friends.

My T1 diabetes not being an arsehole is... weird. A few weeks ago I couldn't get anywhere near single figures.

Okay, so I bought a Logitech G Cloud.

Yes, it's expensive for what it is (a cloud gaming streamer), yes it's not packing a cutting edge processor, but also yes: it's light, comfortable, has a 12hr battery, 7 inch 1080p display, emulation was super easy to set up; PS2 emulation at 50fps, even when upscaled! 🤘

Nice Android tablet for watching and listening to stuff aswell. Only complaint is it's too loud at its lowest setting, so had to use the Wavelet app to lower by -10db as a workaround.

Dear coso ,

I've got a question about portable recording booths. Mainly because I'm making one.

Have fallen into a funk of not being able to get to sleep, having racing thoughts, constant feelings of pain and grief; knots in my guts (pre-dates my Grandfather's passing).

A few days ago I started taking CBD oil capsules. It's not cheap, but I am noticing a change in headspace.

Before bed last night I took a few extra drops. I can honestly say I've had the best sleep in ages.

I used to smoke weed regularly, but I live in the UK, have a public protection career; have to be a good boy! 😅

New Year isn't generally my thing; I don't usually see good years or bad years or hope for better years than the last; just the ongoing cycle of life, the universe, good, evil, and impunity for the rich and powerful.

BUT! These digits, '2024', will see elections in the US and UK. We'll get to show the world what values we stand for by majority.

I hope for all our sakes we go into '25 with far less republican / conservative scum holding positions of power than we did in '24.

But we can't be free, until we learn to laugh at ourselves. Once you look in the mirror and see just how foolish we can be, laughter is inevitable. And from laughter comes wisdom.

Lost my Grandfather today.

I'm okay; it wasn't unexpected, he was in his eighties. He was recently put in a home, had dementia caused by brain tumour and caught a urinary and chest infection over Xmas with only one inevitable outcome.

Partially relieved: he was suffering; now his suffering is over. He'd became a shadow of himself this year, completely away with the fairies. What was left was an empty vessel occupied by another personality. We were complete strangers to him in the end.

Christmas episode was good; I prefer space-based stories but traditionally the female companion is from modern day earth.

Season seeds nicely planted. Good 'buddy' chemistry between the two orphans.

Mrs Flood is interesting. Got me wondering about the choice of name: flood, water, pond, river... missysippi? 🤔 😄

Anita Dobson is married to Brian May of Queen, played Angie Watts, landlady of the Queen Vic; Rani is Queen in English. 🤔

Likely none of the tinfoil theories above. 😂
