Black as my heart.
@CinnamonGirlE my SIL recently posted on FB that she switched to bar shampoo and was amazed at how nice her hair is after using it. She has very long, thick hair.
And I don't mean to shame people for venting if they need to.
I allowed myself one venting post, but now I only want to post about ways we can cope or constructive things we can do.
Often in a yoga class you'll hear "Start from where you are right now".
It means don't let yourself be distracted or angry if you've lost ground from yesterday, if you've not attained some goal you think you should have, if the person next to you seems to be easily doing what you simply can't yet.
It's a practice, every day, start from where you are, never mind about those external factors or internal pressures.
We are where we are. We can wail and moan, or we can get to work.
We use to cut a tree out of the woods here but then SC happened so I didn't bother. Now that it's out of my life I cannot wait to cut one down to decorate.
Talk about the original Charlie Brown tree lol. All it needs a little love. 😍 😛
Oh....oh yeah! Between the two that will definitely do a number with causing hair loss. But thank goodness it's growing back. Just keep doing what you're doing. Hair grows 1/2 inch a month. It will happen. I know it can be stressful, which you don't need. But it will come back again. Your body was traumatized. Try and be patient with the process.

One of my gfs hosted an undecorating party lol...it was FUN. 🍷🍸🎄
Cinny, when it comes to hair, shampoo and conditioner are only topical. It's more internal when it comes to hair and hair loss. Proper diet is key. Also, never dry your hair when it's soaking wet. Let it air dry to get most of the moisture out. Hair is most fragile when it's wet.
I personally take Biotin and it helps.
It's so true. It's more of the meaning behind it instead of the bells and whistles! 😊 I really love simplicity. Less is more!
ah right. motivation 👍🏼😅
I totally get that. I can't imagine the amount of work it was to do that level of decorating. Then the dismantling it all afterwards. Keeping it more simple might be more enjoyable while still keeping the holiday spirit. Last year I actually bought a Charlie Brown tree and put fairy lights on it, since we had just moved here. I actually really loved the simplicity and symbolism of it.
