Found this in the back of a desk drawer. No idea how old it is, or what is on it. Or if it even could still be developed.

@CinnamonGirlE You can develop it. Emulsions are like cheese, they have a best used by date, professional films were refrigerated for that reason. Like all emulsions it has gained gross fog and the color saturations will not be at peak. But you can certainly retrieve the images on it.

@MidnightRider
I am going to send it off to see. Might be something wonderful! (For me, anyway 😂)

@CinnamonGirlE it’s a very cool time capsule, maybe get it done and open it with your family at Christmas as a surprise. Unless it’s “tales of bedroom adventures “ everyone can enjoy the suspense. 😎

@MidnightRider
I will keep that in mind. 😂🤣

Good idea. 😉

@CinnamonGirlE Maybe you will figure out where Jimmy Hoffa is. 😂

@CinnamonGirlE There will be some latent image failure. Sensitized (exposed not developed) emulsions are more sensitive to secondary exposure than unexposed emulsions . Also cosmic, background radiation will raise the gross or base fog which is the film base tint and emulsion post development as read via a transmission densitometer.

@MidnightRider
I can't wait to see what is on it. Maybe some pics of my kids when they were little is my bet.

@CinnamonGirlE I hope that is what you find, wouldn’t that be a great gift for yourself for Christmas?

@MidnightRider @CinnamonGirlE

I told y’all the NJ utility company here dug up Jimmy Hoffa while working on underground problem. Body bag below.

Only one shoe but clearly from the 70’s.

@MidnightRider @CinnamonGirlE

6 weeks or so. Workers laughed their asses off when I was taking pictures. I asked if the organization paid them to dig it up.

@LnzyHou Whaaaat? And this wasn’t a worldwide story that went on for weeks? I always looked for him at the Mauchus Red Fox, it was minutes from my office on Telegraph Road, my boss took us there many times.

@LnzyHou That shoe is in very excellent condition, I also can’t say that it’s specific to the 70s. I saw guys in the 80s and 90s wearing a similar style. Although Stacy Adams sounds right that’s not a cheap shoe.

@LnzyHou Did they find identification on the body or was it a DNA match?

@LnzyHou Dammit ! You have built up a level of trustworthiness that would never even allow me to consider that. 😎

@MidnightRider

It would have been front page news if it was Hoffa remains.

@LnzyHou And do you wanna know why that won’t happen? Because Hoffa, Elvis and JFK are on an island alive working on a great new diet plan for RFK

@LnzyHou I can promise you he was not in the restroom of that previously mentioned restaurant. I looked with the scrutiny of a US congressman.

@MidnightRider

Actually my husband, my parents & I were in Machus Red Fox celebrating my birthday. We saw him across the room then leave. He was never seen again.

Truth.

@LnzyHou you should’ve yelled over to him, “ hey Jimmy, have an extra dessert”.

@LnzyHou Waiter? I’ll have what he’s not having! 😂

@CinnamonGirlE

Drugstores often will develop film, and there are companies that will accept film sent by mail and send prints back.

@DavidSalo
I have used Shutterfly in the past. I will check it out. Thanks.

@CinnamonGirlE We found an old brownie camera in my housemate's uncle's barn that still had film in it. It had been in the barn for probably 40 years, through winter and everything. We sent it away to some place online and they managed to save 7 photos, one of which was my housemate and his 3 siblings as children sitting on a fence looking the other way. Such a cool pic we printed it and gave them all a framed copy for Christmas that year!

@nonayadambidnes
That is fabulous! I would be happy just to have one keeper out of it; a little treasure.
