Up to 10 now. They all survived driving & hotel room stay from Asheville. You can imagine the looks in the hotel as my son carried them in/out.
Now I have a new dealer—greenhouse manager at Lowe’s. She told me yesterday when the orchids are marked down.
Trying to stop as limited space.
Is there a 12 Step Program for orchid junkies?

You can always rescue and then gift them.
Used to do that until I watched friends kill them. It’s not that complicated. Light, water, food, growing medium. That’s it.
Gave 7 orchids to friend when I went on the road. Only two survived & they were full of aphids. Begged her to destroy them.
She didn’t even notice they were infested.

I saw a beautiful one last week. I have the wrong exposure in my kitchen, but maybe will try one somewhere else. I have slowly been replenishing my house plants.
