@DMArt55555 a dozen years ago, the city I’m from was facing what some people thought was a major controversy: a half dozen long lasting LGBT bars & restaurants closed down. The talking heads debated it, but one of the things that was genuinely occurring in the city was that younger LGBT people felt fine going anywhere, signifying an shift in overall attitude towards them in the city culture. It was pretty fascinating.

So I’m watching Leprechaun (1993) for the first time. I do remember though that one of my neighbours in grade 6 somehow got to watch this in a movie theatre, and he exhaustively explained every single incident and scene in this whole thing over lunch one day.

I encountered something supremely annoying just now: AI generated CAPTCHA. The question as to click on everything that was a guitar, except these distorted violins, violas, and ukuleles are not guitars. There was a half guitar, half violin as well…so like a lute. Discriminate classes are hard.

@0x56 they asked the librarians naturally. You couldn’t mostly just head into the stacks and start looking at stuff in a library until relatively recently.

@Graci our guy is not very good. The chef is really trying hard here, but they just booked us a regular photographer, not a food photographer. We’re giving it our all.
