Though I am not here as often as I wish I could be, having those deep convos with all of you. Please know I am so grateful for CoSo and my #CoSoFamily.
Dearest CoSo,
The next days, weeks, and months ahead will continue to be difficult as we strive to battle the daily onslaught of divisive rhetoric. Please remember as we are each tested, the joy we find in each other's experiences, the lessons we learn through our diversity, the hope we generate from communal support, and the abiding love we have to give.
We have more in common than we have differences. We are always stronger together. I love you and peace be with you.
My dear #CoSofamily,
The days seem filled with stories of anguish and the nights are relentlessly daunting. I know. We are surrounded by news that suggests the goodness of humanity is rapidly collapsing and experiencing personal dilemmas that leave our hearts bereft of solace.
Please don't give up. It is in these times of negativity and struggle that we also see strength, goodness, and love. You have only to visit CoSo to have proof.
Here is a truth. There are more like us out there!
If my words or the pictures I share can give even one person a fleeting smile or a moment of joy on an otherwise hectic, frantic, hassled, difficult, or dark day.. then I feel I have done what I was put on this earth to do.
Thank you to all of you for allowing me to bring you a ray of sunshine from time to time.

There is magic in long-distance friendships. They let you relate to other human beings in a way that goes beyond being physically together and is often more profound.
