It’s a chilly night in #newmexico so I’m keeping my head warm with my James Casey Sax beanie. James is fighting cancer so I know he’d want me to remind everyone out there to make sure to get screened for colon cancer. After spending 40+ years here in this country I finally took the oath and became a citizen last month. And some people were surprised in my circle and I had to tell them there was an America I still believed in, the one that liberated my country in WWII (I wasn’t around for that of course) and I knew could be and in my mind I was thinking of CoSo. CoSo is my America. The values and aspirations here. The seeing beyond politics (but never accepting fascism) and value of all.
