Just spent the past hour listening to the 80s Alternative Radio on Pandora and doing breathing exercises while laying on a massage pillow waiting for a bad anxiety attack to pass.

My neck feels like a dozen bowling balls rolled over it (from the massage pillow) but I think maybe it's passed.

Hope everyone else's Sunday afternoon is going better than mine.

My phone camera is crap for zooming up on things, but wanted to share this colorful cool looking crab that my kids and I saw while we were walking on the docks today:

I am slowly sorting out a ton of things as the summer ends. I didn’t forget to draw, I just forgot to make time to draw. The power armor illustration continues.

I've been thinking about work and moving. Even though I'm working basically 100% remote, it's still not guaranteed that I can keep my job when I move out of state. Even if I can keep it, my workload has increased to impossible levels and I'm burning out regularly, so not sure if I even want to keep it.

Have been seriously contemplating if I just want to ditch healthcare entirely and open a specialty tea and coffee roasting business.

I had a weird ass dream last night that the world was post apocalyptic, but not in a bad way, and older Scotty from the ST movies was there and we were in love, but I never saw him because he was constantly running around fixing things so I spent my days trying to track him down.

Anyway, good morning Coso!

I mean, I'm not a big fan of palmetto bugs inside the house either, but lookit this absolute chickenshit: (p.s. this was AFTER the bug was removed)

Worked on repairing the fence today and I know it's not the prettiest to look at, but I'm kinda proud of how well it came out. Especially considering that I'm lacking in more than basic carpentry knowledge and had to lean on my arts and crafts skills.

Anyway, here's a pic of my two dumbasses patiently waiting for me to get my lazy depressed ass out of bed this morning to feed them.

Yesterday:

Picked up the kid's electric guitar from repairs (almost left a part behind) and some strings are still buzzing when we got home

Toaster broke (TBF it's like 100 years old)

Part of the tile floor I spent 2 grand repairing last month started creaking again

Tried to make rice only to find it full of weevils

Kid finally braved up enough to get the COVID booster, but apparently every pharmacy in the entire state of FL is out

Got hit hard by the sads

Hoping today goes better

I missed again, so here's a pic of Missy helping me bake a birthday carrot cake from the Joy of Cooking

Good morning! I just spent $45 of my precious hard earned cash on a Green Day t-shirt. Worth it.

I wonder what would happen if I just started agreeing with every piece of delusional nonsense reactionaries spout.

"THEY'RE PUTTING TRUMP ON TRIAL SO THEY CAN EXECUTE HIM!"
"Probably. Think they'll behead him on live TV?"
"THE FIRES IN MAUI WERE CAUSED BY SPACE LASERS!"
"You'd better pipe down before they decide to vaporize YOUR house, then."
