If there isn't a slider, it's a bug an will be addressed.
But you also can remove some columns.
This is my setup. That last column can be whatever I'm focusing on at the moment--a hashtag, the Firehose, or a specific post.

@tyghebright I did get a slider to finally appear after I resized the window itself per @misslovelymess instructions - TY
