You know, the band Journey was REALLY good before that nasally pop Steve Perry guy showed up. The album “Next” from 1977 is more of a prog rock/fusion kind of vibe and makes me wish they’d kept on that track.

Pre Perry Journey is a very talented jam band for musicians. Perry made them wealthier than they could ever have been if they stayed the course. It’s a shame, though, that Greg Rolie couldn’t stick it out.
