Look.
I was really pissed off at many on this site who turned on Joe over one bad debate. And at just people in general who did that.
But as someone raised Catholic, I was taught the "felix culpa". And that's what we have here.
Joe sacrificed his ego for the greater good. And now, if we keep working, we have a chance to do amazing things.
So my fellow Americans, let's not fuck this up, hmm?
@LiberalLibrarian was it my debate night observation that President Biden was only slightly better than Captain Christopher Pike in his responses? I had concerns well before the debate (SOTU notwithstanding) and kept it to myself. But there was no recovery from the debate, the frame was set and nothing short of perfection could help perceptions.
We might actually see a 8 to 16 year swing into reclaiming lost ground and progress.
