I've seen some commentary about trump, specifically (theoretically) that he can gain the R nomination, win the general, and take the presidency WHILE INCARCERATED. Does anybody know if that's true?...again, theoretically. I'd love to hear Jamie Raskin or Adam Schiff react to the question.
@celticsfanaticentomologist yes per University of California, Los Angeles law professor Richard L. Hasen. There is no Constitutional restriction. Eugene V. Debs ran for President in 1920 while incarcerated.
