@LunaticPoint last year my Dad got turned around and wound up coming on the 26th. It was awful. The 26th is for leftovers and pjs and hot chocolate or coffee and just hanging out on the sofa reading or watching dumb TV.

I’m in a nail salon waiting for Chris to be done. The Masked Singer Vietnam is on the telly and the salon ladies are having a lovely chat in Vietnamese and giggling and this is the Montreal I love.

So it turns out that eating less salty, greasy food and extra snacks out of boredom while watching TV actually makes it so I lose the weight I want to lose. IT'S ALMOST LIKE SCIENCE IS RIGHT.

@logandustman the tradesman didn't like the finish on the bottom (he didn't do it) so he's off to redo it and bring it back on Monday. Already it's so much nicer than what I could have done.

Huh.. a tradesman who cares about quality. the sink refinisher came by to show me the sink and said "look, I'm really unhappy with how the bottom looks, I'm going to take it back to my spot and redo it and get it back to you on Monday".
