My dad target shoots and used to get their magazine (I think they do a request for anyone with a licence and send them the mag for free at first). When he got it, it was genuinely a magazine for people who shot. Honestly, pretty benign. Over the years it morphed into "black helicopters zomg!!" adjacent bullshit. He unsubscribed mb a decade ago.

@singlemaltgirl I have been ordered to produce an Xmas list for the family inlaws, and then I'll do the prep for dinner (it is one of the few meals I don't cook, because, honestly, I can't get it to taste right). Then TV and sofa.

@singlemaltgirl it was good. And we got pizza and we had coffee and we got to hang out together! So, honestly, except for the fact that I'm feeling yesterday's workout horribly, it was a great day.

@singlemaltgirl I got some fuzzy lounge pants and a suit jacket, yesterday I got a suit jacket and a really nice sweater. My wife got erm.. two dresses, the perfect cardigan for her vintage dress she's wearing to a Xmas party, a couple of shirts and .. erm.. oh! we got a ceramic owl to go with our odd bird collection we're doing on our kitchen pegboard shelves!

@BagOfLazers one of my favorite things about my dad is he'll be driving along and think "Oh, I need milk" and pop into Costco and come out with just milk. The looks he gets as he walks through the parking lot.. it's like he's some kind of minor god.

@BagOfLazers Costco was really the first HUGE MASSIVE ASS BIG BOX I ever went to. I'm in Montreal and I don't think there is anything else quite on that scale here.
