If you have drainage swales or other areas where standing water accumulates after rain events, I recommend these “mosquito dunks” as a safe way to prevent [potentially disease carrying] mosquitoes from breeding in ponded water. They contain Bacillus Thuringiensis organisms that are kill mosquito larvae. They’re environmentally benign and can be used in fish habitats. In college biology, I learned that one out of every 26 people worldwide died of a mosquito borne illness. Don’t be one of them.
