I think a straight white man could TOTALLY get away with it...probably even gain some new admirers.
Oh, but a black woman, especially, can't get away with it ~ women and POC get dinged for failing to perform "gratitude" just for having the opportunity. It's not as if we've heard the last of Harris; she's keeping her powder dry!

The point about it being a private group is: trolls are banished and can't now find it again, and anyone else interested in joining can't find it or request to join either.

Clearly, that's a 'No' from you, which is perfectly cool. But anyone who WANTS in needs to know someone already in. So, I'm putting it out there now, while we still have time to plan and network. I'm ALSO advocating for people to move to CoSo.

I spent late-summer and fall doing what I was able for #HarrisWalz2024 <sigh> & one of the online hubs of work (organized or individual) was the Cat Ladies for Kamala Harris group on Facebook (went from formation after she took over the campaign to ~110k people today). The group has since gone fully private, invite only w/a new name, etc.

ANYONE ON FB WHO WANTS INTO THE COMMUNITY, CONTACT ME? I'm happy to vet & invite. Need not have cats nor be a lady! 😉
