The point about it being a private group is: trolls are banished and can't now find it again, and anyone else interested in joining can't find it or request to join either.

Clearly, that's a 'No' from you, which is perfectly cool. But anyone who WANTS in needs to know someone already in. So, I'm putting it out there now, while we still have time to plan and network. I'm ALSO advocating for people to move to CoSo.

@CLManussier I intended it as is a warning that you're using an insecure service to discuss things that might need discretion and privacy.

I would be careful which things you discuss there, and would advise that if something is sensitive, and involves someone's safety, that you take those discussions to somewhere else that you have better security for.

You won't have an audience without using social media. But you should be cautious your audience doesn't include more than you intended.

@CLManussier Keep up the good work. Not all of us can handle the idiosyncrasies of dealing with the big, toxic social media.

And in our furor to get people off the toxic ones, it's easy to forget that there's people there who need us still.
