Long before "Is a ," a subset of history nerds already had "Is The Lion In Winter a Christmas Movie" for the same reason: Christmas is the reason that all the antagonists are in one place at one time, but the holiday in question could just as easily be Easter or Michaelmas or St. John's Eve.... AND, YET... It DOES take place at Christmas, and everything ELSE about it is such an awesome example of it's genre and SO FREAKIN' QUOTABLE!!!!

Such a great movie.
Came out in ‘68, but I didn’t get to see it until. ‘71, at one of those re-run theaters.
