Well at least he's not endorsing Trump
Former President George W. Bush has no plans to endorse in the election
"President Bush retired from presidential politics years ago," his office said in a statement to NBC News.
That's basically true.

His office won't say. In 2020, he is reported to have written in Condoleeza Rice.
I think the presidency was very damaging for him. He was a terrible president, but a decent human being. Cheney et al pushed him into running on his name and then pretty much told him what to do. I wasn't surprised very much when he opted for post-office obscurity.
