It's amazing how quickly people adjust to change, even unpleasant change.

The water dept inspector won't be here until Tuesday afternoon. So we haven't had regular water since Friday morning and won't have it for at least a few more days. We can run it for a brief time every 4 hours or so.

But we've already established a routine and though we're not crazy about it, the whining and moaning has almost stopped. Buckets, bottled water, and paper plates. Head down, move forward.

@BrazenlyLiberal It's a major adjustment for sure! So glad to hear about your attitude, though. If I had to be stuck in an elevator with someone, I hope it would be with someone like you!

@CJLavoie

I just recently learned something I wish I had leaned looong ago - once I've done everything I can and it's out of my hands, there's no point in freaking out.

The odd thing is if I was stuck in an elevator alone, I'd be overcome with claustrophobia. But if someone else was there, I'd be fine.
