I was pretending to work all day, but is it normal to ask the Sec of Transportation what will be done to prevent gun violence? While blaming a Dem Mayor of Chicago? I am willing to vote for $ in the budget to fund the mayor, whomever it is at any time, to lobby each & every one of the 535 members of Congress for smart gun control & an assault weapon ban.

I think that would make more sense than "grilling" the Sec of Transportation when the candidate was shot at & not asked the same.

That's not at all the point. I wasn't insinuating he wasn't giving them the business. It literally makes no sense to ask him.

Btw, I wish they would bring up Colorado instead of Illinois. Low key one of the most dangerous states per capita. I wonder why they don't bring it up . . . .
