I'm not a fan of the idea of term limits either...

I can see putting an upper age limit on elected officials though.

People age at very different rates. Some 80 year olds are sharper than 60 year olds.

Maybe a compromise? Say after 65 they have to have full annual physical exams including cognitive tests to make sure they're still able to do it

there are already limits for how young someone can be to run for office...

any limit will keep very good people out

it seems the US needs some kind of rule to push a younger group into leadership
