Nearly all' AT&T cell customers' call and text records exposed in massive breach

AT&T blamed an "illegal download" on a third-party cloud platform that it learned about in April - just as the company was grappling with an unrelated major data leak.

Ever notice you see this more often with AT&T than with other providers? Or is it just that I despise AT&T that much?

@ArcturusSaDiablo

I don't normally pay attention to what's going on with AT&T but I received a notification that startled me.

I'm so freaking tired of companies being careless with my info. I only give the minimum in order to get needed services & goods, yet I've had my info compromised 5 times now through no fault of my own.

If I was healthy enough to go full Luddite, I probably would.

@BrazenlyLiberal
I fully understand this. And I, for one, want to see regulatory agencies fine these companies every time there is a security breech. And by fine, I mean % of reported company profits from the period in question. It's not enough to just make them pay. It needs to hurt a LOT more than implementing security in the first place.
