NCAA and five major conferences approve settlement that would allow schools to directly pay college athletes for the first time
This is very good news. Many millions of dollars are made every year on the backs of college athletes, most of whom will not have a career in professional sports.
Good question. They shouldn't have to.
Most schools have operated in the red, but new 2024-2025 contracts with broadcasters will significantly increase the $$ schools take in.
@BrazenlyLiberal Will the colleges increase college tuitions to pay for this then? If so then it's not a good idea in my opinion.
