I cannot imagine being pregnant in one of these states. If I was looking to start a family, and I couldn't move, I'd opt to not risk it at all.
@Agatha I live in Washington and we refer to Idaho as North Alabama. It's a very backward place
I grew up in San Francisco, but my parents were from Kansas. My husband was born in a rural/red northern state. Yeah... A lot of northern states can be Alabama, unfortunately. π
