Trying to get rid of migraine that's been building all afternoon😫 Think it's cuz i went to sleep later than usual last nite. Glad to be home & watching Mets game. A win would definitely help my head. Hope everyone's enjoying their evening🌘
@Blueway TY Blue!💙
Feel better. Good luck to the Mets.
@KazzyH TY on both counts🤗
@BlueTsunami Hope it gets better. Some migraines can be helped massaging a pressure point between the thumb and first finger - push into that soft area and if it feels tight even a small ache gently massage it. Sounds odd, I know it works miracles for some and does nothing for others. My ex had migraines since they were a child and this always made them go away.
@Lucky188 Thx JR! Appreciate that tip. I also have major nausea which makes it worse. But I'll try what u suggested!
@BlueTsunami Your welcome and for nausea the underside of the wrist below the thumb helps we used to give pregnant mothers a elastic band for the wrist with a little button there to tap on to relieve morning sickness nausea (works on drunks too if they are turning green), again works wonders for some and useless for others.
@Lucky188 I think it's working a bit. Thx again!
@BlueTsunami
Go Metropolitans!!
@TheEyeOfBalor YES...TY Eye! #LGM
@BlueTsunami
I'm a Mets fan too from way back, but don't follow them as closely anymore, like you do. I focus more on the Giants and Islanders!
@TheEyeOfBalor We root for same teams lol. 'm not a big football fan, but always preferred Giants over Jets. AND i was obsessed with the Ialanders back in the day. I even have a pic with the great Billy Smith when i was 19. Haven't watched Isles in quite a while altho i love ice hockey. Baseball is my favorite. Would be great if NY won a championship one of these days!🏆
@BlueTsunami
It would, indeed!
And it's funny about "Battlin'" Billy Smith: I played hockey for 13 years - 9 seasons in goal - and he was my IDLE!
@TheEyeOfBalor That's fantastic! Ya gotta be a brave soul to be a goalie, so my hat's off to u🏒 Billy was fierce & it was an honor meeting him. I still have that pic, of course!
@TheEyeOfBalor I was also supposed to meet Clark Gillies that nite, but he couldn't make it. Gillies was my late dad's fav player so when Clark died recently, it was really sad.
@BlueTsunami
Yeah, that truly sucked... He was a BEAST on the ice; 6'7" tall on skates!
I got to meet Bobby Nystrom in person twice, though: first time at a 20 mile Walk-a-Thon for the Am. Heart Association in high school, then again many years later - after he'd retired - at a charity golf tourney on the Island's "Gold Coast." He was a total gentleman, and also happened to *still* be utterly *ripped* at what had to have been 50+ years old then!
Such a good dude.
@TheEyeOfBalor Isles were the best! Exciting that u got to meet Nystrom. In 1994, i was at movies & he comes down aisle & he & his wife sit right in front of me & my then husband! Crazy! Didnt meet him, but had proximity lol. Good to hear he was a nice guy! My fav player back then was John Tonelli. Loved his scrappiness!
@BlueTsunami
So true! That one of the reasons he was a Captain.
@TheEyeOfBalor Those were definitely great days & an amazing time!
Have you ever happened to notice the four stripes at the bottom of the stick's shaft on the Isles' logo? It signifies those four Cups!!

🏆 🏆 🏆 🏆 🏒 🗽
@TheEyeOfBalor Interesting... I'll have to check that out! #Dynasty
@BlueTsunami
That pic is a true treasure to have forever!
@TheEyeOfBalor Absolutely! It's black & white from 1979. It goes wherever i go!
@BlueTsunami I hope your migraine goes away and leaves you the hell alone!
@AskTheDevil Love ur very fitting post, Devil!🤣 Thx for ur words & it's easing a little bit. Hopefully it'll leave completely before the nite is over.
@BlueTsunami I hope you feel better soon.
