Some #Humor to lighten the afternoon.

WaPo lost over 200K subscribers & had 3 of 9 editorial board members resign over his refusal to endorse Kamala Harris.
This is more than mistrust in the media (if he's suppressing this, what else is he suppressing)? This is about caving to a tyrant and simultaneously and securing his place in the oligarchy.
One last #Political post before i start work.
A FOREIGN BILLIONAIRE IS PROPPING UP #Polymarket. This is neither real nor accurate
45 Million people have already voted!!!
That is 1/3 of the total 2020 US electorate.
However, several million new US voters (youth turning 18) have been added to the voting rolls since 2020.
Early Voting Results in NYC:
Day 1: 140,145 - Record Broken
Day 2: 257,860 - Record Broken
Day 3: 385,265 - Record Broken

Today is anorher 14 hr day working at the polls. Plz go Vote, our democracy needs you!
Dr Phil, an avid trump supporter, was one of the keynote speakers @ trump's Madison Square Garden rally
When he learned of the racist comments speakers made, instead of disavowing those comments he posted a video saying: folks were focusing on the wrong message and he would have more to say later.
Folks that is professional level #gaslighting.
I've never been afraid of being a poll worker but then again I live in a blue state. I feel for folks in other areas.
Early Voting has begun in #NYC.
There was a slow yet steady stream of voters coming in throughout the day. Everyone was nice polite and patient despite all the items that were on the ballot, including the Equal rights amendment.
This year they have me working at 5 different poll sites over the next 10 days, remaining at each one for only 2 days. The farthest site I'll be working at is 3 miles away.
Hoping people will order their mail-in ballot (today is the deadline) or will vote by 11/3
I'm still pissed at WaPo and confirmed my subscription cancellation.
So far I've given their subscription money to:
National:
ProPublica.org
Semafor.com
In NYC:
Gothamist - Neutral: Focus on General Local matters: business, commerce, education, & politics
Amsterdam News - Progressive: covers issues for POC, DEM party, NYC economy, gov't, law, politics, unions and a Manhattan Focus.
Queens Chronicle & Queens Ledger - they cover all 66 neighborhoods especially what will impact me & my home
This morning I cancelled my Washington Post subscription over WaPo's decision not to endorse Kamala Harris.
Instead I have bookmarked the following News Sites:
- Associated Press (AP) - Neutral
- Reuters - Leans Right
- Semafor.com - Neutral
- Public Broadcasting (PBS) - Leans Left
- Atlantic Journal Constitution (AJC) - Center Right
- ProPublica.org - Neutral
And instead will be donating the money I saved, to local newspapers.
Yesterday I posted 56 posters informing ppl where & how to Register to vote. I was approached by 5 Latinos who ask me to translate 1 word. I realized I needed to create a bilingual poster to make it easy for people to get the how/when/where on how to register.
Today's goal 112 split between 2 different boroughs. Queens and Bronx.
I would post what i created but I may OR may not have posted the poaters in an approved place.
#NYC Election Deadlines:
OCTOBER 26:
