The first period begins July 12th with the 1st intense peak starting late Saturday night, July 20th; the full moon's lunatic energy will subside by July 23rd. All of that ahead of 2 contentious political conventions. Nixon had 98% of RNC delegates while the DNC had a gallery of 9 candidates including KKK-lover George Wallace. As for the level of acrimony on the DNC Convention floor I suggest you watch the 20 min video of highlight clips of the 4 nights of DNC including a young Dan Rather being roughed up by police on air on the 2nd night of the convention and the riots outside the Chicago convention hall.
