@Bliss I don't want to play fortune-teller, but I was heartened to hear about the hour+ long lines at polling stations nearby (in San Antonio). Apparently, the lines are mostly in urban D-leaning areas...

@MeditatorMom @Bliss It's possible Texas flips this election. I'm not sure how likely it is, but it's well within the realm of possibility.

@MeditatorMom

texas has historically been in the bottom 5 states of voter turn out. if Dems actually voted Abbott would not be Gov.

praying this is the year!

@Bliss There's only some many times that a normal person needs to be bitten to stay away from an aggressive dog. @MeditatorMom

@Bliss

Just moved to Washington state after 16 years in Texas.

Texas is PURPLE- and ready to go BLUE. This election is different. Women will have a big affect of the voting this year. Bodily autonomy and getting rid of the draconian abortion laws is incredibly important for women (and men).

is going down... and that BLUE WAVE is rising.

SURF'S UP, TEXAS!

@Bliss We did our part and voted blue down the ticket here in suburban DFW. Anecdotally Cruz stil has strong support if you count the yard signs. Nothing like the carnival like antics of Trump cultists though who decorate their yards for him with lights, banners, flags, and inflatables like a next level scary Halloween display.
