What's your go to "crap I forgot to plan/prep dinner" recipe?

This is a great question for @InUnfunky

For me:
miso soup as the starter (I always have miso paste, tofu & nori on hand)

steamed or roasted veggies seasoned (whatever I have on hand)

1 tin of Sardines [from my emergency box]
1 cup of rice
1tbs chopped onions
some chopped mushrooms
some chopped green onions
2 tbs of light soy sauce
nori/seaweed (optional)

— but I either (when not at the kitchen I work in) have plans/recipes or do not. There is no forgetting, just saying “I don’t feel like cooking on an off day. Have some DiGiorno Detroit style pie and sprinkle some arugula on that shit. Have fun!” 🤣
