In my 4 decades of voting as a progressive, I have figured out that I get 20% of what I want with the Dems.
I get 100% of what I don't want with the Repubs.

The Democrats didn't ignore the working class. Not even the white working class. Not even the white male straight cisgender working class. There were actual policies, unlike Trump, that would have benefited them significantly.
The media ecosystem made sure that they didn't hear about them.

Our prosecutors completely failed us.
They had 4 years to enforce the laws against Trump, and they delayed, and they hesitated, and they were too cautious, and they finally went after him -- but it was too little, too late.
