Republicans have never been able to win on substance, on clear voiced truth. So tgey take some little thing, a look, or a laugh, or a small phrase, & try to build a whole thing out of it.
This is why they can't debate without breaking the rules of debate (like, for ex., staying within the bounds of truth).
