Why stay in a land of a hate? Republican parents would rather have their hate than have their children want to live near them.
@ExecutiveFunction404 @Bix I grew up in Texas and my mother and sister are still there. They are too old to be impacted but I also have a (minor) niece. I hate what has transpired there on so many issues.
I am always struck, sadly, by the amount of hate peeps choose to carry with them, never seemingly realizing it eats them from the inside out, and they're already 'dead' by the time they understand the source of the hate, if, and that's a big if, they ever get to that understanding.

Someone posted a ss of a headline that said, 13yo rape victim forced to carry pregnancy to term. There was something mentioned about them "not knowing the law", but less than 9 months ago, the Mississippi law denied another 13yo rape victim that "right under the law", so they need to stop with this double-speak shit.
I can't tell you how happy I am that we didn't stay and start our family in Texas. Especially having a daughter.
