I'm already having a hard time (about 5 minutes into this particular cycle) of listening to the whitewashing and normalization of McConnell's tenure. This man, more than any individual, is why Roe is gone. This man is the reason Trump can run again. McConnell was awful.
@LnzyHou Yes. Trump was the front man, behind him, McConnell got everything that he always wanted - including appointing 1/3 of ALL federal judges.
The only thing both of them are gonna get is beds in assisted living.

If your criteria is whether he was able to manage the herd of cats that is the current GOP and get their legislation through, he has been a success. That's exactly why he's a problem to those who don't share their priorities. It's best not to underestimate the enemies of your cause, the way the GOP did with Pelosi.
