Good morning, Cosonauts. ☕️💞
It's always a good morning when my feet hit the floor. Might as well Jump. 😊
@JoyfullyDazed my unpopular opinion, Van Halen III is a good Rock album, but it is a mature album musically and lyrically not much different than Sammy. It’s kinda’ Ed’s instrumental album, but with singing and breaking the Pop formula.
CP — do you mean the “III” with the Chippendales Masshole? 🤔😱😉🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
@InUnfunky @JoyfullyDazed DLR was an ass shaker long before Extreme was a glimmer in Nuno’s eyes. I listen with my ears, not my eyes.

Jumping on the VH train, I always loved Fair Warning.

No problem. I like this one before we are adding in 80's hair metal era stuff.

Similarly to the ex, I like all of the VH platters up to bits and pieces of both "OU812" and the "Poundcake" album. It was at that point (early '91) that I was overwhelmed by "alternative," grunge, and funk rock, THEN Zappa cultdom so "my tastes changed" irrevocably and thus was rendered unable to appreciate some AOR. Plus Gary Cherone. 😜
I fully admit this is prejudicial and a potentially mistaken bias, however is also subject to change. 🙄 🤓

I go from:
Brill Building pop is the greatest
to
Curtis Mayfield is the greatest
to
The Stooges are the greatest.
@Bix @JoyfullyDazed @CanisPundit
Bixie prefers the earlier, more punk Curtis.
@InUnfunky @JoyfullyDazed @CanisPundit
I prefer the version on Curtis Live.

Bix, my biggest rock rule is, if it has Eddie in it, I love it.
